Vision versus Vision

Dr.
Stoebner would like to thank all who attended the COVD 38th
Annual Meeting this past October, and took the time to visit his
booth!
The
following note is EXTREMELY important for those wishing to
expand their practices within the community:
From informal
interviews with Optometrists and Vision Therapists alike, Dr.
Stoebner and his staff determined that, although the materials
presented are specifically designed for one-on-one (working with
patients), there arose an added benefit to this program: Vision
Therapist and staff training.
As a conservative
estimate, an Optometrist/Vision Therapist will spend 4 - 6 weeks
training assistants and interns to work in-house with patients.
If a work day consists of 6 hours, that is a MINIMUM of 120
hours of valuable professional time spent "just learning" office
procedures and courses of treatment. And, depending on
your case load, multiply that times the number of assistants
that are needed
per patient. As you may already know, hiring and training
a qualified professional is the most time-consuming task for an Optometrist/Vision
Therapist, to ensure the highest quality of care for each
patient.
If it were possible
to reduce that time by 25% to 50%, would that make an impact on
your practice? How much more attention could you give each
patient to further their personal success?
This program,
especially the DVD's, IS NOT meant to replace your current
procedure, only simply to enhance what you have already
established, and give a basic framework to the parents of those
you wish to help! Consider the literature you now give to
each family you treat... chances are that they themselves have a
difficult time grasping the concepts of your work. How
much easier would it be for you to be able to hand each family,
along with your regimen, a set of DVD's that would enable them
to become involved in understanding the process ON THEIR OWN
TIME. The sheer amount of frustration that will be
alleviated by helping the parents understand the process is
immeasurable!
How about referrals?
Your best patients will always be those who come by
word-of-mouth (in all the years of Dr. Stoebner's successful
practice, not once did he ever have to advertise). How
much faster would your practice grow if parents and patients
could give more confident description of your processes and
goals?
This combination of
reducing training time and dramatically increasing parent
confidence could significantly impact your practice in a
positive way! Dr. Stoebner invites you to explore his
50-years of Developmental Vision Concepts starting
here.
